HR generalist

We're looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our team and manage HR responsibilities for our 30-member team. While we already have most of our processes in place, we're open to new and innovative ideas.

As the HR Generalist, you'll be responsible for coordinating the entire recruitment process, leading performance reviews, organizing company events, taking care of the team, managing internal communication and administration, and working with the professional team leaders and company owners to identify and implement internal procedures and workflows.

• Coordinate the entire recruitment process, from job postings to onboarding new hires.
• Lead 1-month HR interviews with new joiners, and 3-month reviews together with project managers.
• Take care of the team's well-being by monitoring employee morale, addressing concerns, and promoting a positive work culture.
• Conduct regular employee engagement surveys to identify areas for improvement and address concerns or issues.
• Develop and implement succession plans for high-potential employees in close cooperation with the Head of Production and the Project Managers.
• Lead performance reviews and take part in providing feedback to employees to help them grow both professionally and personally.
• Organize company events such as team-building activities, and company outings.
• Manage internal communication and announcements.
• Handle administrative tasks, such as HR databank, forms, company Playbook updates, and tracking vacation requests.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations by reviewing and updating policies and procedures, providing training to managers and employees, and working with legal counsel when necessary.
• Participate in finding out internal procedures and workflows to help streamline processes and increase efficiency.
• Work closely together with the Office Manager, the Head of Production, the owners of the company, and the project leading PMs.

• Native or fluent Hungarian
• Bachelor's degree
• 3+ years of experience as an HR Generalist or similar role
• Solid recruitment background (preferably IT-related) and a great eye for identifying talented candidates with trustworthy personalities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to break the ice among developers
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
