Flexible workspace
and service rental SaaS
Project Overview
A sleek digital platform for flexible workspace and service rental. Book a premium NanoHouse office for as little as one hour — and only pay when your business generates revenue, with no long-term commitments or contracts.
Our platform goes beyond simple space rental: service providers — from English tutors to wellness professionals — can register, list their offerings, and let clients book sessions directly through the app. Transform the way you work and do business with NanoSharing's agile, easy to use framework.
Challenges
Payment Flow
Designing a flexible payment system that supports hourly billing, the no-risk revenue-based model, and session extensions required careful planning across multiple user scenarios.
Dual User Roles
Defining how the platform serves both regular users and service providers — each with distinct needs and views — was a key structural challenge in the product design process.
Location Management
Handling the logic around venue availability, location changes, and ensuring users always have accurate, up-to-date information about their booking required a thoughtful approach to data management.
NanoSpot Integration
Integrating NanoSpot into the existing platform posed unique challenges, as its real-time, timer-based flow differs significantly from the structured booking model of spaces and services.
Our Solution
Delivering NanoSharing required close, ongoing collaboration between our team and the client from the very start. Regular feedback cycles ensured that both functional and visual decisions aligned with the product vision at every stage — from the initial branding discussions through to the final feature integrations.
1. Two-Sided Platform Architecture
A unified system was designed to serve both regular users and service providers, each with tailored views and workflows within the same platform.
2. Flexible Booking & Hourly Billing
The booking flow was built to support hourly, multi-hour, and full-day reservations, with transparent pricing displayed at every step of the process.
3. Integrated Map & Location Management
Venues are surfaced through an interactive map, allowing users to locate available spaces in real time and giving admins full control over location data.
4. Service Provider Scheduling
Service providers can register on the platform, set their availability, and receive bookings from clients — turning NanoHouse locations into multi-purpose venues beyond simple office rental.
5. Admin Control Panel
A dedicated admin interface allows operators to manage users, bookings, locations, and transactions from a single dashboard, ensuring smooth day-to-day platform operations.
6. NanoSpot — Real-Time Workspace Access
A new feature was integrated to allow users to purchase time at cafés and informal workspaces, with a live countdown timer and in-app session extension to support flexible, on-the-go working.
7. Visual Identity & Branding
A key early focus was establishing a coherent visual language for the platform. The original gold-yellow brand colour was retained as an anchor, while a new pastel green was introduced to bring a sense of modernity and calm — setting the tone for the overall user experience.
8. Mobile-First Design
The platform was designed with mobile use in mind, ensuring that the booking flow, timer features, and user dashboards deliver a consistent and intuitive experience across both desktop and mobile devices.

Highlights
Search & Availability System
NanoSharing's search system allows users to filter available spaces and services by date, time, and location. The results display relevant NanoHouse offices and registered service providers in real time, giving users a clear overview of what is available for their chosen time slot. This eliminates the need for manual coordination and enables bookings to be completed entirely online.
Booking & Calendar
Once a space is selected, users can view its exact location on an integrated map and proceed to book directly through a calendar interface. Available time slots are displayed by the hour, with greyed-out slots indicating already booked periods, giving users an immediate picture of availability. Bookings can be made for individual hours or for an entire day, with pricing shown upfront for each slot.
Dual-Side User Experience
NanoSharing operates as a two-sided platform, serving both end users and service providers through a unified interface. Regular users can track all their upcoming bookings — whether for a workspace or a service — displayed as cards with the relevant details of each reservation. Service providers, on the other hand, see a calendar populated with their incoming appointments, including the client's name, location, and time slot, giving them full visibility over their schedule.
Admin Panel
The admin panel provides platform operators with a centralized interface to manage all aspects of the system. Bookings and user accounts can be monitored and edited, while new locations can be added or updated directly from the dashboard. The panel also includes a transactions view, allowing admins to track financial activity across the platform from a dedicated place.
NanoSpot
NanoSpot is a new feature that addresses a growing challenge for mobile workers: finding a reliable place to work outside of a traditional office. As many cafés and bars have become increasingly restrictive about laptop use, NanoSpot allows users to purchase a defined time slot at participating venues, securing an undisturbed working session without the risk of being asked to leave. An on-screen timer tracks the remaining time, with the option to extend directly through the app.
