Contact form
When you submit a contact form on our website, we collect:

- Your email address
- The contents of your message
Why: To respond to your enquiry and assess whether we can help with your project.
Legal basis: Legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) — responding to unsolicited enquiries from prospective clients.
Stored in: Asana (our project management tool). See Section 5 for details.
Retention: We keep contact form submissions for up to 2 years, or until you ask us to delete them.
Newsletter
When you sign up for our newsletter ("The SaaS Founder"), we collect:
- Your email address
Why: To send you articles and updates about SaaS product development.
Legal basis: Consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR) — you opt in voluntarily. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any newsletter email.
Stored in: MailerLite (our email platform). See Section 5 for details.
Retention: Until you unsubscribe. We will delete your data from our mailing list within 30 days of unsubscription.
Analytics and tracking
We use analytics and advertising tools that collect data about how visitors use our website. This data is collected via cookies and similar technologies placed on your device.

Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) are legal mechanisms approved by the European Commission for transferring personal data from the EU to third countries. Each of the US-based processors listed above has committed to SCCs as a safeguard for EU data transfers.

- Right to erasure — You can ask us to delete your personal data ("right to be forgotten").

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure. Our website is served over HTTPS. Access to contact form data in Asana is restricted to authorised team members only.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will notify newsletter subscribers by email.
