Tech Project Manager - Freelancer Network

We're building a network of talented freelance tech project managers to collaborate with on an ongoing basis. No open full-time role for now, but when a project kicks off that fits your profile, you'll be the first we reach out to.

What the collaboration looks like:

  • Project-based engagements, from a focused sprint to longer-term product work
  • Direct collaboration with our in-house team and international clients
  • Full ownership of planning, scoping, and delivery within your project, with clear briefs and room for your input
  • Mostly an async workflow, with regular meetings when needed, we respect your time and schedule

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • Experience effectively managing software development projects from start to release (preferably web and mobile apps), within scope, budget, and timeline
  • A creative problem solver mindset with a proven track record
  • Familiarity with project management tools, methodologies, and best practices
  • Experience seeing through full project life cycles and identifying technical risks before development starts
  • Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Good at supporting and motivating a team of developers
  • Good written and spoken English

Nice to haves

  • Firm understanding of web architecture: protocols, APIs, and the structure of web or mobile apps
  • Experience implementing third party services into products (payment gateways, push notification systems, SMS services, various APIs)
  • Experience with agile software development practices
  • Ability to scope a high level project vision down into release cycles, handling problem priorities and task dependencies
  • Sprint planning and change management skills
  • Ability to explain technical solutions to non-technical people
  • Native or fluent Hungarian language knowledge
